Vrees started with a simple idea: make gear that works on the water and still looks good when the day takes you somewhere else.
We wanted a boot that could handle wet decks, rough weather, and long days outside—but didn’t feel like something you had to change out of once you stepped off the boat.
We had grown up fishing Boston Harbor from dawn to dusk as kids and when J.P. came to Matt with his new idea for a better boot the two set off on the path to discover and create what is now known as VREES.
Inspired by fishing, coastal living, and the people who never seem to call it a day, Vrees is built for wherever the day takes you. From the first cast in the morning to the dock at sunset, from the boat to the bar, we make products designed to keep up.
